I very much do not believe that what you want is possible. If it is, it is beyond my ability.

Ah yes. I missed something in your previous question. The Effectuator 2000 works because the items it changes all share the same options. All drive effects have the same options. All Amp modules have the same options. This makes it easy to make changes. But the other effect modules have each their own options. There is nothing similar enough about them to make it simple to change settings globally. So you only get Amp, Drive, Reverb, and some misc settings.

I don't know if the tube affects the sound when Boost is off. I know that if you take out the tube the G5 will still work, except for the Boost of course. I use ElectroHarmonix tubes and like them. You can see how to find the tube in the mod videos.
There is an item on my zoom menu where someone tested the G5 on battery power with and without the tube. Even with the boost NOT on, having the tube installed ate about 5 hours of battery life than the G5 without the tube. So the G5 is using the tube for something. What? IDK

I haven't tried that but I don't believe that it will work. Since there are two tone pots both will be connected to the volume pot. So both will be live all of the time. At all times both tone pots will be affecting your system. The mod, as Frank set it up, is used on a single vol and single tone wiring. You could make the neck tone a master tone and that would work. You could use the middle tone control as a blender control.
ashbass reply:
In the diagram, the yellow wire is the input to the pot and the red wire is the output from the pot. In Frank's example an Ibanez type guitar is used and the input is coming from the switch--the pickup hot goes to the switch first and then the switch to the pot. On a les paul the pickup hot goes first to the pot and then the pot output goes to the switch. In both, the middle lug of the pot is the output lug and that is the one used for the mod. Using resistor with the capacitor is not needed in this mod. The resistor was used in the typical treble bleed to even out the pot's taper. With the falbo mod a resistor in series with the cap will not do anything for pot taper.
The mod works on the output of the volume pot as fed by a tone pot. Note: "a" tone pot. If you try to use two tone pots connecting to the same volume pot, at any time both tone pots will be live and affect the vol pot together. This is probably not what you want to do.

Hi Ash,
I was wondering if you would be able to install a patch select mod with a tap tempo switch on my Zoom B3.
Thanks,
Nick
