The SoloEtte Banjo ![]() The SoloEtte Banjo from Wright Guitar Technology was designed to meet the needs of the traveling five string Banjo player. Rossco, owner and inventor of the SoloEtte Travel/Practice guitar, kept getting inquiries from Banjo players who were being kicked out of hotel rooms for practicing. Our Banjo is the perfect solution. Now Banjo players can practice anywhere, at any time, without disturbing their neighbors or loved ones. The SoloEtte Banjo has 22 frets with a full set of side dots and face dots. The scale length is 25 1/2", the nut width is 1 5/32", and the string spacing at the saddle is 1 3/4". The assembled frame simulates a standard size Banjo.This instrument comes equipped with strap buttons for playing while standing. When assembled, the SoloEtte Banjo only weighs 2 pounds! During travel, the Banjo's frame disassembles to fit in a small carrying case and weighs 4 pounds. The So Tuning from this end is probably the way it should have been all along, but was not available to standard stringed instruments when tone propagation from the bridge would be hampered by heavy tuning mechanisms. Due to the design of the SoloEtte Banjo, the area behind the bridge is available for tuners. A pegbox fits perfectly here, does not need to tilt back, and can be made stronger and thicker because
