Wah-Wah Radio Interference Filter Mod
Wah-wah pedals can sometimes act like little radios when active. The fix is to add some capacitors to the circuit board to filter out the radio interference. This mod works for me and I make no guarantees that it will work for anyone else. Use it at your own risk.
I learned how to do this from several sites on the net. For more information about what I'm doing here, check out the Geofrey Teese Tourbleshooting FAQ and S. Castledine's Wah Wah Mods page.

PARTS: You'll need two 10pF capacitors, a soldering iron, and some solder.
-
Open your pedal by taking out the four screws on the bottom. Remove the bottom cover and put it off to one side.
-
Locate the two transistors on the circuit board. Looking at the round side from left to right, the three legs on the transistor are the Collector, Base, and Emmitter.
-
To filter out the radio interference, remove the cirucuit board from the pedal chassis and solder a 10pF capacitor across each transistor's Collector and Base legs.

You're done. Close it up.
