I wanted to offer a tip for those G3 and G3X users with the "rattling footswitch" problem. I received a G3X with one loose footswitch. It turns out that there is a thick metal piece under each footswitch and there is no way of tightening them. If they are slightly too small, they will rattle. The ONLY way to fix it is to use some strong glue. Once you do that, all the rattling is stopped. Just be sure to avoid getting the glue anywhere near the center of the switch or else you will impede the switch travel. Here are some pictures. it looks messy, but I did it this way so the glue wraps around all the edges of the loose metal piece.
