| Zoom G3X Raja Segar 'Delay Circuit' Mods Diagram v0.93
Comments For the G3v2, a roadblock to creating an elegant Patch Down/Up mod is that for the Patch effect to work, the Tap button must be pressed *before* the Scroll/Patch buton is pressed. After many different configurations of wiring a foot switch to somehow delay the press of Scroll/Patch until Tap was pressed I gave up and went in a different direction. Most of us who use both Patch and Scroll navigation in a single footswitch for the G3 have an additional latching switch which puts our pedal in Patch Mode or Scroll Mode. Raja Segar appears to have gotten an elegant version to work. I have not tested his circuit. However, it appears to introduce a delay after the Tap connections are made so that the Scroll/Patch connetions are treated as Patch. This approach requires a more advanced comfort level with electronics than the other options on this site. Check it out below.
